We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager – Manufacturing Operations, to join the team based at our modern manufacturing facility in Llanberis. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be primarily responsible for all reagent manufacturing activities and management of production areas to achieve quality and quantity targets. This encompasses the provision of leadership, vision, and maximising staff contribution to meet future needs. You will have approximately 5 direct reports with overall responsibility for 150 staff. Other responsibilities include budgets & forecasts, leading continuous improvement activities, ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.  

We are looking for the successful candidate to have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes (including manufacturing management techniques ideally with chemistry / biochemistry), strong business acumen, experience in a leadership role, and have lead continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work a part of a team, as well as lead a team, are also required.
